About Me
My love for photography started when in 2013. I would take my iPod and would take pictures of my shoes in captivating landscapes. Like any teenager with a new hobby, I found ways to make money to afford my first camera, the Canon Rebel T3. I wanted to go beyond just a static shot. A high school teacher introduced me to the world of journalism and once I learned the 'run and gun' lifestyles that journalists live I knew I wanted to be part of the action.
Today, you can find me in Omaha, Nebraska, working my dream job at KETV Newswatch 7 as a photojournalist. My journey started in 2024 as a weekend overnight photographer. While some may be deterred away by the hours, working overnights was irrelevant to me. The only goal on my mind after graduating from the University of Nebraska-Omaha was getting my foot through the door and working.

Working overnights is how I earned my grit covering breaking news: shootings, car crashes, severe weather and everything else in between. For fun, I also like photographing concerts. My concert photography tends to focus on heavy music, like journalism I enjoy concert photography becuase it gives me the opportunity to capture raw moments.
